The mission of Good Samaritan Society is to share God’s love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that In Christ’s love, everyone is someone.
At Good Samaritan Society, one of the supportive services provided is transportation. By supporting this cause, you are supporting much more than basic transportation. You are providing independence, freedom, and a life well lived. A new bus will allow families the opportunity to spend more casual time together, rather than focusing on business like errands.
Another support service offered is the resident care fund. Aging is unrelenting and health can rapidly deteriorate in most instances. Unfortunately for seniors this is not an uncommon issue. The resident care fund allows for seniors to have hope and not question what comes next.
Benevolent gifts do more than help residents meet basic needs. They restore hope and protect dignity and can make the difference between surviving and thriving.
With your support on North Texas Giving Day, we can continue to provide freedom, independence and peace of mind for seniors at Good Samaritan Society in both Denton locations.
