If you thought you’d bring your best platinum camera phone to record the Alexander McQueen collection at Thursday’s Crystal Charity Ball Fashion Show & Luncheon, toss that thought.
Seems the powers-that-be are forbidding any photos to be taken during the fashion show proper, except by the bona fide CCB and Neiman’s photographers.
Even when the 10 Best Dressed and Hall of Famer are presented, photos can only be taken by the guests seated in the tent that has been installed in the NM Downtown’s valet parking lot since last Monday. There will be no herd of photographers to stand at the end of the runway or at the back of the tent even for this presentation.
Just in case you forget, there will be a note on the bottom of your menu advising you that photography is forbidden during the show.
You’ve now been warned. Pass it along.
But wait! On second thought, has anyone ever seen someone at the CCB fashion extravaganza raise their cellphone to snap a shot? Nah.
