While Sovereignty crossed the finish line with his jockey Junior Alvarado covered in mud, another winner took home a record-breaking win for the Turtle Creek Park Conservancy‘s 2025 Day At The Races (DATR) with nary a trace of mud in sight.
Thanks to the sold-out crowd of dazzling dolls and dapper dudes, the 17th Annual DATR made history, taking home a record-breaker in the earnings.
Instead of jockeys, the win was thanks to Co-Chairs Shannon Graham and Beth Layton as well as their tireless committee including Underwriting Chair Lisa Singleton, Honorary Chair Nancy Carter and presenting sponsor Truist.
This morning, Shannon, Beth and Truist Dallas Market President Renda Mathews presented TCPC President/CEO Tiffany Divis with a check for a whopping $435,655.

Plans are already underway to break another record next year at DATR when the ponies make the run for the roses on Saturday, May 2.
