It was just four years ago, in June 2022, that Majors Dawn and Paul McFarland returned to North Texas to assume leadership of The Salvation Army Of North Texas Command. They had previously been part of the North Texas program as former leaders at the Adult Rehabilitation Center in Dallas from 2015 to 2020.

Last night at Heather and Todd Furniss‘ fabulous home for the “15th Anniversary And Revealing Echelon Continuing The Legacy,” aimed at Echelon‘s young adults who support The Salvation Army, it was confirmed that the McFarlands will be moving to Florida in June.

According to Dawn herself, their move is to take place on Sunday, June 22.

When asked if she had started packing for the move, she laughed and said she has the boxes, but she’s too focused on the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary Fashion Show on Tuesday, May 6, at the Meyerson.

The move to Florida will not be all that new to the couple. From 2010 to 2015, they were stationed in Tampa.
