If North Texas ever needs an ambassador to tell the world about its colorful history and its promise for the future, the perfect one was on hand and being honored at The Senior Source‘s 2025 Spirit Of Generations on Thursday, February 27, at the Hilton Anatole.

So great was the fan club for 2025 Spirit of Generations honoree Elaine Agather that the VIP reception prior to the luncheon had to be held in the Chantilly Ballroom’s big Wedgwood Room. There, highfalutin names were in attendance, from former mayors like Fort Worth’s Betsy Price and Highland Park’s Margo Goodwin to past Spirit award recipients Jan and Fred Hegi, Forrest Hoglund, Linus Wright, Diane Scovell, Becky Bright and Lydia and Dan Novakov.

Little did even the top drawers know that the presentation would include Elaine’s appearance atop a “mustang,” a squad of cheerleaders or her connection with Cruella de Vil and Lady Gaga.
