Anyone who fell in love with “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman’s” Byron Sully back in the 1990s, or with Jake Harrison on “One Life To Live,” is going to be thrilled to learn that actor Joe Lando will be the 2025 Each Moment Matters Luncheon featured speaker on Thursday, October 16, at the Hilton Anatole.

While folks might think Joe’s life has been all good looks, talents and fans and therefore he wouldn’t be a good fit for a fundraiser benefiting Faith Presbyterian Hospice Faith Caring Fund — which supports compassionate care programs for end-of-life patients and their loved ones — they would be wrong and in for a surprise.
Having lost his home and belongings in the recent California fires, Joe’s resilience has helped him in his journey through “grief, healing and the strength of community.”
By the way, there is just one degree of separation between Jane “Dr. Quinn” Seymour and Joe when it comes to Each Moment Matters. It was back in 2018 that Jane became supportive of Each Moment Matters. That year she was the keynote speaker. Then, when the luncheon had to go virtual in 2021 due to COVID, she offered a virtual art lesson for the silent auction. And, just last year her good friend Christy Cashman was the luncheon’s keynote speaker.
Co-Chaired by Susan Farris and her daughter Lora Farris, the Forefront Living Foundation luncheon sponsorships and tickets are available here.
