Change Of Plans Alert: Room To Grow Luncheon To Take Place Surrounded By NorthPark’s “Five Hammering Men”

With weather looking rather threatening starting tonight and continuing through Saturday, fundraising organizers are preparing for rain, hail, gusty winds and meteor showers. No, forget that last one, but the others are real possibilities.

One group has already put Plan B in motion with all hammers down, literally. It’s Dec My Room’s Room To Grow Luncheon And Fashion Presentation that was scheduled to take place tomorrow in NorthPark’s Neiman Marcus Garden.

But Luncheon Co-Chairs Ashley O’Malley and Heather Winn, along with the teams from Dec My Room, NorthPark Center and Neiman Marcus, made the call to move the luncheon and fashion presentation by NM Luxury Fashion VP Jody Kahn and NM Senior Editorial Director Bruce Pask to the South Court, where Jonathan Borofsky’s “Five Hammering Men” will be hosting the guests.

Ironically, the last time the event took place in South Court was 2019, when weather forced organizers indoors and the Hammering Men were perfect gentlemen. Since then the big guys have been away being refreshed and recently returned, just in time to provide an artful backdrop for the luncheon.
