Leave it to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Red River Chapter to fill the Meyerson lobby on Wednesday, February 12, with all shades of pinks and reds, both blushing and brilliant, for the annual St. Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show fundraiser.
Despite Valentine’s Day still being a couple of days away, love was in the air.

While the crowd including Honorary Co-Chairs Mona and Grey Stogner, Peggy Sewell, Louise Griffeth, Debbie Raynor, Bonnie Mastin, Debbie Francis, Connie Tyne, Nikki Turner, Barbara Averitt, Sarah Jo Hardin, Pat Harloe, Victoria Snee and Brooke Shelby grew in the lobby, onstage Event Producer Jan Strimple was rehearsing the youngsters, who would steal the show, emcee Clarice Tinsley and the speakers like Leukemia And Lymphoma Society President/CEO Dr. Anders Kolb, Lynda Adleta Heart Of Gold Awardee Brian Berryman, Preston Hagman accepting the Memorial Hero Award on behalf of his late father, Larry Hagman, Luncheon Co-Chairs Courtney Petit and Caitlin Wilson.

Then the doors to the McDermott Concert Hall opened for the fashion extravaganza of Highland Park Village fashions including Carolina Herrera, Lela Rose, La Vie Style House, LoveFancyShack and Simkhai.
