KidneyTexas Inc. President Mari Epperson, 2025 Runway Report Chair Allison Brodnax and Evening Chair Sharon Ballew hosted a get together for nearly 100 last night at the Brodnax household to announce the plans for the annual fundraiser with some changes in directions… literally.
First of all, reset your GPS. Instead of having the fashionable ladies and spring looks on display on Brook Hollow Golf Club, it will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Dallas on Friday, September 26.
Perhaps with touch in cheek, the theme is “The French Connection” in a tip of the chapeau to the life-saving collaboration between French and American doctors like France’s Dr. Jean Hamburger, whose early work laid the foundation for kidney transplantation, and U.S. Dr. Willem Kolff, whose dialysis innovations transformed treatment options worldwide.
And what would a French theme be without fabulous fashions on the runway? Not to worry. Fashion Show Producer Robyn Chauvin is going to fill the catwalk with cloths from NorthPark.
In addition to have Anne and Bill Seanor as presenting sponsor, Donna and Herb Weitzman will serve as honorary co-chairs.
