One of the most guaranteed to be a spring-like outdoor event is Dec My Room’s North Texas Chapter’s Room To Grow Luncheon. Returning once again to NorthPark’s marvelous Neiman Marcus Garden, this year’s fundraiser is being co-chaired by Ashley O’Malley and Heather Winn on Wednesday, April 2.

This year’s luncheon and showcase of spring fashions will have NM Luxury Fashion VP Jodi Kahn and NM Brand Senior Editorial Director Bruce Pask sharing insights on the fashion trends to expect.

One of the day’s highlights will be the 2025 Celebrate Flight Award honoring the memory of Ellison Liechty, who despite her “brave fight against acute myeloid leukemia (AML) lost her life in 2020.”
It was in 2019 that Dec My Room “was privileged to transform her hospital room into a safari for her 13th birthday.”
Accepting the award will be Ellison’s mother, Julie Liechty.

Another highlight of the day will be longtime Dec My Room supporter Kameron Westcott being presented with the Monarch Servant Heart Award.
Following the luncheon and presentation, there will be champagne and shopping in NM’s Men’s department.

According to Dec My Room’s North Texas Chapter Director Heather Smith, “We hope everyone will make plans now to join us on April 2 for what promises to be a fabulous day of friends and fashion, and most importantly an opportunity to support Dec My Room’s purpose to create much-needed healing places at our four local area hospital partners.”
Funds raised from the event will benefit the Dec My Room North Texas Chapter’s efforts. Tickets range from $250 to $25,000 and are available here.
