With college bowl games and the 2025 Super Bowl putting a competitive feel in the air, one of the area’s most challenging and fun fundraisers will be taking place on the evening of Friday, January 24, at Union Station. It’s the 15th annual Great Adventure Hunt being co-chaired by those money-raising gals Calvert Collins-Bratton and Lynn McBee.
Benefiting ChildCareGroup, this year’s event will have teams of six solving puzzles related to “travel connections, social media connections, internet connections, personal connections or anything that interconnects people.”
According to ChildCareGroup President/CEO Tori Mannes, “We are thrilled to have Lynn’s and Calvert’s leadership and support of the Great Adventure Hunt, which raises critical funds to support ChildCareGroup’s Two-Generation approach that educates young children and supports families so they may achieve greater well-being and self-sufficiency.”
In addition to the game playing, hunters will enjoy a Wolfgang Puck dinner
Presented by Bread Financial, the event is aiming to beat last year’s $300K raise by hauling in $400K. If you want to try your hand at this puzzling affair, check here for availability.
