According to 2024 Fur Ball Chairs Katy and Lawrence Bock,
“It was our greatest pleasure to chair the SPCA of Texas Fur Ball in October. On this extraordinary night, animal lovers united with a single purpose- to help provide all animals exceptional care and a loving home. And the result was a whopping net gift of more than $770,000!

“Since its founding in 1938, the SPCA of Texas has been an organization our community relies on, not only to care for the animals, but the people connected with them. The support of animal lovers just like you plays a vital role in animal protection, public safety and saving the lives of our area’s most vulnerable animals.
“In 2023, donations and gifts to the SPCA of Texas were able to meet these critical needs:
- “10,000 wellness visits and 10,219 spay and neuter surgeries for pets in
- the community and at our shelters.
- “3,517 pets were adopted into new loving homes while 790 were rescued from
- cruelty.
- “137,177 pounds of pet food were distributed through the Russell H. Perry Pet
- Resource Center.
- “2,996 pets transferred to animal partners around the country.

“Fur Ball Patrons showed their love the program by generously supporting including the fabulous live and silent auctions, followed by partying to the entertainment by Georgia Bridgwater Orchestra. The 2024 Fur Ball was a time to celebrate animal success stories, while raising much needed funds to help more pets go from homeless to happily ever after. Nancy C. and Richard Rogers were the Presenting Sponsors and their generosity set the tone for future SPCA of Texas events.
“The SPCA of Texas is an organization that our community relies on, playing a vital role in animal protection, public safety, and saving the lives of our community’s most vulnerable animals and their people. The SPCA of Texas is one of the most dedicated groups of individuals we have ever encountered in our years of philanthropic work.

“It was a true privilege to collaborate with the incredible employees and volunteers at the SPCA of Texas and with community partners and supporters to serve animals and people in North Texas. As we pass the torch to the 2025 Fur Ball Co-Chairs Kristin and Jame Hallam, we hope (and wish!) that you will support this most important cause.
“Most of all, we thank you for changing the lives of thousands of animals through your generous support. Please visit furballdallas.com to make our wish come true!”
