“Our wish at Dec My Room’s North Texas Chapter is to have the continued support of the North Texas community to sponsor a personalized room for children spending the holidays in the hospital. Our mission to decorate rooms for pediatric patients who are admitted into the hospital for greater than three weeks is especially important during the holidays! When these kids should be out celebrating, they find themselves in the hospital instead – now and throughout the year, we bring happiness and create a healing place for them to find comfort.
“Celebrating our ninth year in the Dallas community, we are expanding our mission to include children with shorter hospital visits, to enhance their treatment experiences. We are excited to reach a wider group of patients, further fulfilling our mission of creating healing places!
“Dec My Room gratefully supports four hospitals in our community: Children’s Health – Dallas, Children’s Health – Plano, HCA Medical City Children’s Hospital – Dallas and Cook Children’s Hospital – Fort Worth. We are also actively working on Room Decs at new facilities. Please help us bring holiday cheer and healing with a $300 donation (or any amount) to fund a room for our very deserving patients!”
