“Cancer Support Community North Texas is seeking gas gift cards to help our participants drive to their medical appointments.
“Cancer patients’ healthcare costs can put a strain on families, so having assistance with gas costs for the many appointments they need to go to is a big help.
“CSCNT takes the scary out of cancer by providing critical mental health and social support services to thousands of North Texans with cancer and their families through in-person and virtual programming. The mission of CSCNT is to uplift and strengthen those impacted by cancer by providing support, fostering compassionate communities, and breaking down barriers to care.
“Ovarian cancer survivor Nancy Loera says, ‘I can go to CSCNT and bring all the baggage and know someone has my back. Because of this gift, I can be a great aunt, a great sister. I can do the best job performance at work. Life becomes better every day.’ Nancy has participated in CSCNT’s Living with Cancer support group, community meals and other activities.
