After months of preparation for the election of 2024, the big day of Tuesday, November 5, kept all types of folks up way into the wee hours of the following day. The topic du jour at the Turtle Creek Park Conservancy‘s 2024 Luminary Dinner on Wednesday, November 6, wasn’t about the results of the election. Rather, it concerned the waiting for, and watching of, the results.

To create the perfect setting for the night of the TCPC’s top donors and honoree Louise Griffeth, TCPC President Tiffany Divis had the tables at Salum designated as Azaleas, Roses, Hydrangea and other garden highlights with floral centerpieces. Thanks to the candles throughout the room and a three-course supper created by Chef Abraham Salum, guests like TCPC Board of Directors Chair Bob Kriscunas, Lyda Hill, Lynn and Peter Dauterman, Teal Griffeth, Bailey and Peter Stovall, Katherine and Austin Wyker, Shannon Graham, Renda Mathew and Russell Hayward, Susan and John Farris, Kim and Greg Hext, David Davis and Michael Faircloth and Paula and Jeff Jones showed no signs of weariness.
