If the word “gracious” required a picture-perfect setting, then Helen and John Carona‘s Preston Hollow estate would be camera-ready. On Tuesday, October 29, it was the place for the 2024 Crystal Charity Ball Circle Of Angels dinner underwritten by Deloitte.
After being greeted at the front door by 2024 CCB Chair Cheryl Joyner and Evening Chair Lisa Cooley, guests like newlyweds Gail Fischer and Ken Christensen, Lyda Hill, Chris and Christine Durovich, Annette Simmons and Gage Prichard, Kristi and Bill Francis, Aileen and Jack Pratt with daughter Caroline Pratt Cohn, Jennifer and David Lancashire, Tanya and Daniel Rice and Mary Martha and John Pickens made their way through the mansion to the the magnificent grounds overlooking a private lake for the cocktail party and seated supper in the tented terrace that included a marvelous koi pond serving as a centerpiece.
