Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Red River Region’s (LLS) 2025 St. Valentine’s Day Luncheon and Fashion Show Co-Chairs Courtney Petit and Caitlin Wilson and Honorary Co-Chairs Mona and Grey Stogner have just announced the fundraiser’s honoree.

Taking place at the Meyerson on Wednesday, February 12, the recipients will include the following:
- Lynda Adleta Heart Of Gold Awardee Dr. Robert Berryman, Baylor University Medical Center Director for Outreach and Clinics for the Blood and Marrow Transplantation. The award is presented to “individuals who have had a profound impact in the community specifically in the fight against cancer.”
- Memorial Hero Awardee the late Larry Hagman, who passed at the age of 81 in 2012 due to acute myeloid leukemia. The award recognizes “an individual in the community who has passed away and who battled blood cancer.”

They’ll be joining the previously announced honorees including Spirit of Tom Landry Awardee Jude Cobler and former First Lady Laura Bush for the 2025 Icon Award.

According to Red River Region Executive Director Leah Swanson, “Each year LLS recognizes individuals in the North Texas community who, through their philanthropy, advocacy, legacy and sometimes own battles with blood cancer, have made an impact in raising awareness and funds for the Leukemia And Lymphoma Society. We are especially grateful for this year’s honorees and award recipients, whose dedication and generosity make a profound difference for our mission and its future.”
With tickets ranging from $300 to $500 and tables going for $3,000, sponsorships are available here.
