On Thanksgiving eve, word just arrived from the North Pole elves about Breakfast With Santa at NorthPark Center on Sunday, December 8. If you’ve already locked down your reservations for the epic family-friendly party with the jolly old elf and a legion of super heroes and princesses, face painters, balloon artists, musical performance and delicious all-you-can-eat breakfast, rest easy. On the other hand, if you had meant to book a place… well, unfortunately, it’s too late. The Children’s Health‘s benefit is sold-out. Now, if you don’t want to lose face with your munchkins, you have a couple of options: You can beg, plead and better yet write a substantial check for the Women’s Auxiliary to Children’s Medical Center Dallas. If that doesn’t work, you might want to check out the Dallas Historical Society’s “Cocoa With Santa” hosted by Helen and John Carona, also on Sunday, December 8. Santa is heading over to the fundraiser that will take place from 1:30 to 4 p.m., so you’ll have plenty of time to change from your Crystal Charity Ball black tie garb into cashmere sweaters and boots. So, keep your fingers crossed that there’s still room for the event being co-chaired by Calvert Collins-Bratton and Jennifer Scripps. Needless to say, poor Santa is going to need his rest after such a full day of chatting with North Texas youngsters.
