According to Dallas Historical Society’s Cocoa With Santa Honorary Co-Chair Calvert Collins-Bratton and Chair Jennifer Scripps,
“The holidays are a time for traditions, and one of our favorites is the Dallas Historical Society’s Cocoa with Santa. This event is more than just a festive gathering—it’s a way to create cherished family memories while supporting an organization dedicated to preserving the stories that shape our city.

“We are thrilled to invite you to this year’s celebration, happening on Sunday, December 8, from 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the home of the gracious hosts, Helen and John Carona. Their home will be transformed into a holiday wonderland, setting the perfect scene for an afternoon filled with joy and magic.
“From face painting to cookie decorating (with all the colorful sprinkles you can imagine) to photos with Santa, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Wendy Krispin Caterer will once again spoil us with delicious food, warm cocoa and festive libations for the grown-ups.

“While the event is fun for the whole family, it’s also an opportunity to make a lasting impact. By attending or becoming a sponsor, you’re helping the Dallas Historical Society continue its mission to preserve the heritage of Dallas and Texas. It’s a gift that keeps on giving—one that ensures our history is celebrated and shared with future generations.
“Tickets are $100 for a family of four, which includes four photos with Santa. You can also purchase additional tickets for extra family members or photos. For those who want to do more, we offer sponsorship opportunities ranging from $2,500 to $10,000, each with special benefits.
“This holiday season, our one wish is for you to join us in celebrating the magic of the season while supporting the important work of the Dallas Historical Society. Whether it’s through tickets, sponsorships, or even a donation, your support helps keep our city’s history alive and thriving.
“So mark your calendars, gather your family, and come experience the joy of Cocoa with Santa. Together, let’s make this holiday season unforgettable for our community and for those who will benefit from the DHS’s incredible work.”
