What better place to reveal the Junior Achievement of Dallas‘ 2025 Dallas Business Hall Of Fame laureates than the splendiferous estate of Amanda and 2023 Laureate Brint Ryan on Friday, October 8. In addition to the announcement that Allie Beth Allman, Curt Farmer and Dale Petroskey would be formally inducted into the Hall of Fame on Saturday, February 22, at the Omni Dallas Hotel, guests were treated to a view of Brint’s well-known collection of model trains. Here’s a report from the field:

On Tuesday, October 8, Amanda and G. Brint Ryan opened their stunning Preston Hollow home to a crowd of more than 40 guests who gathered to support Junior Achievement of Dallas. The perfect weather allowed the laureate social event guests to mingle outdoors on the candlelit veranda before returning inside to learn about the 2025 Dallas Business Hall of Fame, benefiting Junior Achievement of Dallas. The event will be held on Saturday, February 22, at the Omni Dallas Hotel.

Class of 2023 Laureate Brint Ryan greeted guests and ushered them into the home’s “train room,” where Brint displays model trains from his private collection, for a special announcement of the Dallas Business Hall of Fame’s 2025 Class of Laureates: Allie Beth Allman, Curtis C. Farmer and Dale Petroskey. All three of these business powerhouses have made a significant impact on Dallas. On a drive through the Park Cities, you’d be remiss not to notice the stately real estate signs that are the calling card of Allie Beth Allman And Associates, which was founded by Ms. Allman and consistently ranks one of Dallas’ top real estate firms. Named Top Producer in Dallas for three consecutive years, Ms. Allman has been recognized for her dedication to customer satisfaction.

Mr. Farmer has made a big impression as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Comerica Incorporated and Comerica Bank. In addition to his leadership in the banking industry, he actively serves on boards across Dallas, supporting organizations ranging from Boy Scouts of America and SMU Tate Lecture Series to the Crystal Charity Ball and Dallas Citizens Council.

And Mr. Petroskey’s expansive career includes service as Assistant White House Press Secretary to President Ronald Reagan, Senior Vice President for Mission Programs at National Geographic and President of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. Since 2014, Mr. Petroskey has served as President and CEO of the Dallas Regional Chamber, which was named National Chamber of the Year in 2022.

Also in attendance were a who’s who of Dallas business leaders and past Laureates: Arcilia Acosta, Elaine Agather, Hal Brierley, Valerie Freeman, Hilda Galvan, Jody Grant, Walt Humann, Tom Leppert, John Olajide, Ross Perot Jr. and Herb Weitzman.

The Dallas Business Hall of Fame has become a signature event for Junior Achievement of Dallas. Now in its 27th year, the annual gala not only honors the best and brightest in the Dallas business community but also serves as a critical fundraiser to support Junior Achievement’s mission to inspire and prepare young people for success in a global economy.

JA Dallas President/CEO Chris LaTurno closed the event with a reminder of the deep impact of the Dallas Business Hall of Fame, which has raised more than $5 million, directly contributing to educational programs focused on financial literacy, entrepreneurship and work readiness that have reached more than 700,000 Dallas students.
