2024 North Texas Giving Day update*

With just three hours to go, 2024 North Texas Giving Day is inching its way to meet last year’s $63M+ total. From all appearances, it may be a tight finale with a little more than $5M needed.

The good news is that thousands of North Texas non-profits have spread the word about their programs.

Regardless of the outcome, the real story is how the collaboration of companies, foundations and individuals including total strangers has resulted in a show of solidarity for programs that make this sprawling territory of communities united in providing for those in need.

And if your budget can’t afford a donation, consider volunteering. According to one non-profit, “A volunteer is a priceless gift.”

So, on Friday, when the emailboxes take a rest from the deluge of requests, the non-profits will get back to their missions of making North Texas a better place.

And who knows? We just might bust last year’s numbers. Stay tuned.
