JUST IN: 2024 North Texas Giving Day Hits The Halfway Mark With $42M+ And Prizes Being Awarded

With nine hours down and nine to go, 2024 North Texas Giving Day is whooping it up for thousands of area charities to the tune of $42M+. Yes, emailboxes are being slammed by non-profit reminders that now is the time to donate. But the shout-outs are working, thanks to the generosity of all types of donations. Everything from $1 to …

While Westlake Academy Foundation continues it lead on the education leaderboard, its first place on the big leaderboard has been replaced by the ever-top-raising North Texas Food Bank, which is nearing the $1M mark.

2024 North Texas Giving Day Prize Page*

Over on the Prize Page, the winners so far include the following:

  • Golden Ticket – Second Chance Farm in Granbury won the Up And At ‘Em $1,500
  • Randomly awarded $1,500 to a non-profit that registered on the first day, June 3 – New Life Cat Rescue
  • Meet Your Match first presented by Communities Foundation of Texas and The Dallas Foundation – $5,000 for Arts District Chorale and $5,000 for Spark!

And there are so many other categories sponsored by the likes of Southwest Airlines, Amazon, The Addy Foundation and others.
