As La Fiesta De Las Seis Banderas prepares for its 40th anniversary celebration, 2025 La Fiesta President Suzanne Brown had all her plans prepared to present to the committee at a kick-off meeting last Thursday.
Taking place at Carrie Cothrum‘s marvelous home, it was easy to see something was up with massive arrangements of the reddest flowers and flags on both sides of the front door.
Despite the 90-degree weather, the committee heads looked so cool in bright colored silk and cotton dresses and killer heels as they posed for the group photos in the backyard with its covered terrace.
But back to the plans. Gala Co-Chair Susan Glassmoyer and Rachel Stienke revealed the theme for the year — The Ruby Regalia — with the formal presentation honoring all the flags of Texas.
Leading up to the annual formal gala fundraiser at The Fairmont Dallas on Saturday, June 7, will be the formal announcement of the Duchesses and Escorts on Thursday, December 19, the Preview Luncheon on Wednesday, April 16 and so much more.
But to do all of this coordination takes a village and in this case it is the committee that includes dozens and dozens of women … yes, women … to make it all happen.
Susan confided that this anniversary celebration is having some delicious input from the ever-creative La Fiesta Co-Founder Jennie Reeves. Be prepared for surprises, fun and delights!
