According to Family Compass Board Chair Judy Bennett Garner,
“Working to support Family Compass for the last six years and now serving as board chair, I have seen transformative growth at the agency. I’m proud to say that we continue to see year-over-year progression in serving even more children and families in North Texas.
“What I find so important about this cause is the ability to get out front in preventing the trauma of abuse and neglect before it can ever occur. Family Compass works directly with families to aid them in strengthening parenting skills, reducing stress, and improving conditions in their homes and community.
“Impressively, the team at Family Compass has experienced virtually no turnover for some time. We as a board continue to be inspired by the dedication of the staff and had fun reconnecting over food and fellowship at a lovely Appreciation Event at the start of the summer.
