According to Change is Good Honorary Chair family mom Madison Strode,
“Hey there, Dallas-area families! I’m excited to invite you to one of our family’s favorite events of the year, Change is Good benefiting Community Partners of Dallas! Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 13, from 3 to 6 p.m. and join us in CenterPark Garden at NorthPark Center for an afternoon packed with joy and superhero magic. This annual family-fun fundraising event encourages kids to collect change to help change the lives of abused and neglected children. Your kids can make a difference!
“This year’s event is chaired by the incredible Tina Lalangas and Gavin Minnis, along with their kids Phoebe and Tessa, and the wonderful Maria and Dino Sideris with their children Yioula and Georgia. They’ve planned a fantastic day with a superhero theme that you won’t want to miss. Kids will have the chance to exchange the change collected coins and bills for chance tickets to win some truly awesome prizes. Every child will receive their very own superhero cape, setting the stage for a day full of excitement.

“It’s a whirlwind of family-friendly activities, including face painting, fairy hair, arts and crafts, games and even a petting zoo. There will be plenty of delicious bites from your favorite NorthPark eateries, and grown-ups can enjoy a toast with mimosas while soaking in the fun. We’ll also be celebrating the top fundraisers and unveiling the winners of our 2024 t-shirt artwork contest.

“And that’s not all! Change is Good will kick off the inaugural NorthPark Pumpkin Patch, which will be a fall wonderland from October 14-31. CenterPark Garden will be transformed into a magical destination with thousands of pumpkins, a wishing well, a gnome village, and so much more. Fabulous photos are guaranteed! Throughout October, all change collected at the Pumpkin Patch, Dillard’s Fountain, and Neiman Marcus Fountain will benefit Community Partners of Dallas. The Pumpkin Patch is free and open to the public, so bring the whole family and capture some wonderful fall memories. An official list of events and activities will be listed on northparkcenter.com in September.
“I can’t wait to see you all on October 13 for a great day of kids helping kids and having a fun time doing it. Let’s come together and make change happen! More information, including details on sponsorships, is available here.”
