According to Red Tie Gala Co-Chairs Robert Bunnett and Dr. Korie Flippo and her husband Matt Tribolet,
“For anyone impacted by cancer, the daily importance of mental health support is critical, and Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT) is a beacon of hope for patients and their families. We hope the community will join us in supporting this cause at the 4th Annual Red Tie Gala, presented by Woot!, on Saturday, November 2, at 7:00 p.m. at Frontiers of Flight Museum. Inspired by this year’s venue, the gala theme is the ‘Golden Age of Flight,’ and the evening will include festive dress-up, fine-dining stations, unexpected new auction packages and live entertainment.
“The Red Tie Gala benefits Cancer Support Community North Texas (CSCNT), the leading non-profit providing emotional and social support to people living with cancer and their families across N. Texas. More than 40,000 people are diagnosed with cancer every year in Texas, which to CSCNT means thousands of people are looking to us for critical mental health and social support as they navigate their journey. CSCNT’s goal is to take the scary out of cancer and to help people thrive. This incredible event not only celebrates the survivors, but also the patients and caregivers who bravely walk through our red doors for support.
“We are so grateful to our sponsors to date which include: Woot!, Grant Thornton, Advocate Media, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, KJ Custom Screens and Outdoor Living, Southwest Diagnostic Center for Molecular Imaging, and Syndee Stiles, but we have sponsorships still available. As well, gala tickets are on sale now for $400 for a couple, $225 for an individual. Proceeds from the Red Tie Gala will provide the ongoing social and emotional support programs and services the organization provides at no cost to all impacted by cancer across DFW.
“We hope you will take this ‘opportunity’ to support Red Tie Gala and the important mission of CSCNT by visiting https://cancersupporttexas.org/red-tie-gala/.”
