With the recent Equest Blue Ribbon Gala stampeding across the finish line, the 2025 Day At the Races plans are already out of the gate. Thanks to the Kentucky Derby organizers designating Saturday, May 3, as the Run for the Roses, Turtle Creek Park Conservancy has announced the leadership for its annual fundraiser.
Heading up the afternoon at Turtle Creek Park will be Co-Chairs Shannon Graham and Beth Layton. These two gals are right at home with the beauty and talent of horses, having been in leadership roles at the Equest Women’s Auxiliary Fashion Show and Luncheon in years past.

Adding to the horse-loving set will be Honorary Chair Nancy Carter.
According to TCPC President Tiffany Divis, “Nancy Carter, an incredibly generous supporter of beautification, healthcare and children’s charities for many decades, is the ideal honorary chair. Her work on behalf of the Crystal Charity Ball, Cattle Baron’s Ball, Equest, Dallas Arboretum, Kidney Texas and numerous organizations is unparalleled. We are the ones who are honored that Nancy accepted this role.”
Returning to support DATR are 2024 DATR Underwriting Co-Chairs Katie Layton Oster and Allan Oster, who are saddling up as 2025 auction co-chairs.
Another returnee will be Presenting Sponsor Truist Bank.
So, mark your calendar and start shopping for some eye-catching duds. While tickets are available right now, just check with TCPC’s Chris Denney about sponsorship and underwriting opportunities.
