Jenna Bush Hager has grown eons since her days at the White House as a first twin/first grandtwin. For the clueless, Jenna’s grandpop was U.S. President George H.W. Bush (1989-1993) and her dad was U.S. President George W. Bush (2001-2008).
But in addition to their Oval office connections, the Bush females (Jenna’s twin is Barbara Pierce Bush) were forces to be reckoned with including First Ladies grandmother Barbara Bush and mom Laura Bush.
Jenna has become a morning mainstay with Hoda Kotb on NBC’s Today With Hoda and Jenna. Being her own person, she even told Hoda to dump her bra for the Fourth of July.
She’ll bring that sparkling personality back to her hometown of Dallas when she is keynote speaker for the Austin Street Center‘s 2024 Humble Beginnings Luncheon on Friday, October 11, at the Hilton Anatole.
According to Austin Street Center CEO Daniel Roby, “Known for bringing to light stores of hope, humor and humanity, Jenna Bush Hager has brought joy into the homes of millions of Americans over the years. Her presence and heartfelt connection will undoubtedly shine a spotlight on the critical issue of homelessness in our community at this year’s Humble Beginnings Luncheon. With her support, we hope to inspire even greater commitment and action toward helping Dallas’ more vulnerable residents find hope, healing and a home.”
Co-chairing the fundraiser will be Michelle Thomas and T. Dupree Scovell along with Honorary Chair Elaine Agather.
Already the leadership has announced that The Addy Foundation will receive the Norm Hitzges Award and Texas Health Resources will be presented with the Community Leadership Award.
With individual tickets starting at $165, sponsorships range from $3,000 to $100,000.
