2025 Crystal Charity Ball Chair Mary Martha Pickens has just announced the game plan for the charity selection process for the 2025 beneficiaries. But before getting to the process, the organizations must have
- served children in Dallas County
- had a 501 (c) (3) designation for at least three years
- provided services in Dallas County for at least three years.
Once you’re made it past those requirements, here is the timeline:
- Friday, August 16 – applications are available on the CCB website.
- Tuesday, August 27 at 9 a.m. at Communities Foundation of Texas (5500 Caruth Haven Lane) – a “brief application orientation” (Attendance is not required but it never hurts.)
- Friday, October 18 at noon – applications are submitted at CCB office (3838 Oak Lawn Avenue, Suite L150). To assure receipt, it might be wise to hand-deliver the application.
- Thursday, February 6 – 2025 CCB beneficiaries are selected.
In the meantime, the CCB committee of 100 volunteers is hard at work fundraising to provide $7,093,665 for the 2024 beneficiaries (Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum, HHM Health, Methodist Health System Foundation, Parkland Health Foundation, The Center for Integrative Counseling and Psychology, Traffick911 and Vogel Alcove) that will be celebrate at the annual black-tie ball at the Hilton Anatole on Saturday, December 7.
