While countless area non-profits are already on board for the 2024 North Texas Giving Day, others are hemming and hawing about the possibility because it’s summertime. They’re probably thinking, “It’s not until Thursday, September 19.” However, there’s a real incentive to sign up for the mega fundraiser ASAP.

While registration is open until Friday, August 9, early birds that sign up here by Wednesday, July 3, will be considered to be part of MySweetCharity’s 2024 North Texas Giving Day Booster series.
It’s open to all qualifying non-profits in Collin, Cooke, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Erath, Fannin, Grayson, Hood, Hunt, Johnson, Kaufman, Montague, Navarro, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell, Tarrant and Wise counties.
Every year the North Texas Giving Day Booster series shares stories about familiar charities, as well as some that are new to the MSC community.
According to the Communities Foundation of Texas team, more than 35 non-profits will be selected for the series that will run from Monday, August 26, to Wednesday, September 18.
And there’s still more frosting on this treat. In order to encourage non-profits to complete this form by midnight on Monday, July 1, a drawing will be held for a $500 gift card from NTxGD Presenting Sponsor Amazon. How prime!
But, time’s running out to be considered. If your organization is selected for the series, you’ll be notified by mid-July with your completed submission for posting due in late July.
If you’ve just landed in North Texas and are scratching your follicles about North Texas Giving Day, welcome to the most generous place in this hemisphere. Since its start in 2009, North Texas Giving Day has grown to be the largest community-wide giving event in the nation. The 18-hour online giving event empowers every person to give back to their community by supporting local nonprofits and causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform.
In 2023, $63.9 million was raised through 97,132 donors benefiting 3,249 local nonprofits, bringing the 15-year total to over $566 million for the region. This year, community members are invited to start donating to their favorite nonprofits during the “Early Giving” period, which runs from Sunday, September 1, through Wednesday, September 18, in advance of the big day on Thursday, September 19.
