Last night Women’s Council of the Dallas Arboretum President Therese Rourk and A Writer’s Garden Chair Joni Krieg revealed the plans for the 2024 fundraiser.
Taking place at the Dallas Arboretum’s Rosine Hall from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, this year’s theme will be “Star Style Glamour For The Home And Garden” presented by the Weber Foundation.
And what better experts on the subjects of home and garden than multi-award-winning British interior designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard and San Francisco Bay area’s Homestead Design Collective owner Stefani Bittner.
While Martyn has been named one of Architectural Digest’s top 100 designers, he’s been “described as Hollywood glamour meets ethnic exotica and eclectic, luxurious, sophisticated, comfortable and fearless.” No wonder his clients are a collection of celebrity who’s who types like Cheryl Tiegs, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton, Sylvester Stallone, Kylie Jenner, Cher, Kourtney Kardashian, Elton John, Tommy Hilfiger and Ellen Pompeo. No wonder his “Star Style” is such a delicious read.
When it comes to the blending of beauty and usage of the outdoors, Stefani’s Homestead provides design, installation and full-service organic maintenance, harvesting, bee keeping, preserving, floristry and composting services. Her handiwork has been found in commercial properties, public spaces and private residences, as well as being featured in The Wall Street Journal, Vogue, Food and Wine, Time Magazine, Better Homes And Gardens, etc. Stefani’s authored “The Beautiful, Edible Garden,” “Harvest: Unexpected Projects Using 47 Extraordinary Garden Plants” and most recently “The Fragrant Flower Garden.
In addition to Stefani and Martyn, Therese and Joni have arranged to have philanthropist Garry Weber serve as honorary chair.
Presented by the Weber Foundation, the luncheon and presentations by Martyn and Stefani will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13.
