As 2024 Cattle Baron’s Ball Co-Chairs Lora Farris and Marjon Henderson are prepping final plans for the big hoedown for the American Cancer Society North Texas fundraiser at Southfork on Saturday, September 28, the leadership selection for the 2025 CBB has been underway.
While it hasn’t been officially announced, the early-bird word has made the rounds that Dr. Courtney Derderian and Nina Sachse will be at the helm.
While Courtney has only been a member since 2020, she was on the 2023 production committee and is “currently co-chairing” this year’s underwriting committee. And that’s in addition to her being a pediatric anesthesiologist and an associate professor at UT Southwestern, where she “specializes in anesthesia for plastic and craniofacial surgery, sedation, pain management and airway management.”
Co-Chair Nina has been on the CBB Team for more than a decade, not only co-chairing silent auction and membership but also serving on the production committee four times.
In addition to having been a member of the Junior League of Dallas for a decade, Nina has co-chaired The Family Place’s Partners Card, the Dallas Museum of Art An Affair of the Art and 20th Annual Home For The Holiday Home Tour for Armstrong Bradfield Preschool Association.
