The Family Place‘s annual ReuNight supper that has in years past boasted a live auction of luxury packages is taking a different tack this year. With the event set for Thursday, May 9, at Hôtel Swexan, Co-Chairs Kristin and James Hallam and Annie and Erik Miller have opted to hold a silent auction in place of the live one. Still, paddles will be raised when the call for cash is made to help “empower survivors of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence.”
Joining the co-chairs will be two longtime Family Place supporters: Honorary Co-Chair Bunny and Family Place Board Chair Harold Ginsburg.
According to Harold, “Bunny and I are deeply honored to be recognized as honorary chairs for this impactful evening of raising critical funds for The Family Place. Empowering survivors of family violence is not just a cause we support; it is a moral imperative that drives us. We are excited to stand alongside compassionate individuals who share our commitment to creating a safer future for all families.”
Presented by Ben E. Keith, the event will include a four-course dinner under the direction of the hotel’s Executive Chef James Ash.
Produced by Steve Kemble, ReuNight’s “astronomical” tone will also feature music by the Hunter Sullivan Band and an Afterglow party in Babous, Swexan’s exclusive speakeasy.
In addition to sponsorship opportunities, individual tickets are now on sale here.
