Despite all types of threats of the wet stuff falling from the skies above, today’s Dallas Arboretum’s 2024 Food and Wine Festival is on. Arboretum veteran Marketing VP Terry Lendecker, who has been through ice storms, tornado threats and blistering heat, reported, “Yes, the weather is going to be challenging for us, but we have a good rain plan. Last year we had 3 tents in the main plaza, and this year we will have 5. The VIP won’t have any changes.”
Presented by Southwest Osteopathic Physicians, the Festival features a cast of chefs and their teams for this year’s foodie extravaganza including Amor y Queso, Asian Mint, Bbbop Seoul Kitchen, Bisous Bisous, Café Momentum, Cane Rosso/Zolis/Thunderbird Pies, Carbone Vino, Chef Mollie G: Custom Catering, CocoaVina, Curio Kitchen + Market, Dallas Culinary Company, Dea, Dive Coastal Cuisine, Eataly – Terra, Encina, Fearing’s Restaurant, Fond, Garden Café, Gaylord Texan, Goodwins, Harvest, Humble: Simply Good Pies, Jelly Queens, Kessaku, La Duni Baking Studio, Low Country Quisine, Malai Kitchen, Meridian at The Village Dallas, Molino Oloyo, Mozzarella Co./Empire Baking Co., Nena Posteria, Parigi, Petra & The Beast, Profound Farms, Purepecha, Quarter Acre, Sadelle’s, Saint Rocco’s New York Italian, Slow Bone, Snap Kitchen, Sugar and Sage Bakery, Taco y Vino, The Saint, Vestals Catering and Wolfgang Puck Catering.
The VIP Experience featuring Georgie’s, Jose, Knife Dallas, Monarch, NOSA Restaurant and Inn and Sushi Rock starts at 6 p.m., and the rest of the grazing and wining commences at 7 p.m.
And don’t forget this weekend’s Food and Wine Festival Market Garden that will be taking place in the Main Entry Plaza from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This year’s vendors (Amor y Queso, Asian Mint, Avery’s Savory Popcorn, Cocoavina, Colibri Panaderia, Eataly, Elevate Coffee Trading, Jelly Queens, Juju’s Coffee, Kalisee, Kevin the Pie Dude, La Duni, La Malinche, Nut Naturally, One Day Bakery, Starship Bagels, Sweet Joy Bites, The Macaron Makery, The Vegan Black Pinup, Vestal Catering, Vine Vegan Bakery and Waffly Delicious) will offer artisan goods, kitchen decor and more.
