While The Family Place is currently searching for its next CEO with Tiffany McDaniel at the helm as both interim CEO and COO, its board of directors has added new members.
The new directors include Lauren Black, Jessica Bass Bolander, Wende Burton, Mike Coffey, Delia Jasso, Katie Samler and Sue Schell.
Staying in place is the board leadership including Board Chair Harold Ginsburg, Treasurer Steven Bauer and Secretary Pat Faubion.
According to Tiffany, “The Family Place is pleased to welcome these outstanding and accomplished community members to our board of directors. They each bring their leadership, expertise, and a profound dedication to our mission of ending family violence. “We are also honored to have Harold Ginsburg continue as our chairman of the board. Harold’s leadership over the past three years has been foundational to our growth and ability to serve families across the Metroplex and beyond.”
The newbies will be joining current board members Ashley Arnold, Mark Benton, Laurie Berger, Nancy Bierman, Jim Buddrus, Bill Durham, Theresa Flores, Brittany Frazier, Michelle Goolsby, Stacey Guillen, Lindsay Jacaman, Michelle Jenkins, Reggie Johnson, Nakita Johnson, Elaine Kartalis, Melissa Keeling, Linda Knox, Clarisa Lindenmeyer, Sarah Marks, Tom McCollum, Mary McGreevy Jennings, Lauren McKinnon, Tiffany Moon, David Oliver, Theresa Parkinson, Cristal Retana-Lule, Ryan Scripps, Lisa Sherrod, Sinead Soesbe, Anthony Suggs, G Syed, Kelly Vickers, Leah Waldrum, Elizabeth Ward Creel, Samantha Wortley and Ana Yoder.
The Family Place “empowers survivors of family violence by providing safe housing, counseling and skills that create independence while building community engagement and advocating for social change to stop family violence.”
