As The Sweetheart Ball committee gathered yesterday at 1996 Ball Chair Alinda Wikert‘s home, the battle against heart disease ramped up with news.
2024 Ball Chair Heather Washburne congratulated 2023 Chair Amy Prestidge for “the successful and beautiful 2023 Sweetheart Ball” for providing “a record-breaking $2.7M for cardiovascular research” at UT Southwestern Medical Center.
Following that announcement, Heather revealed that Ola Fojtasek would chair the 2025 Sweetheart Ball.
Heather confirmed that the 2024 Ball would take place at Brook Hollow Golf Club on Saturday, April 20, preceded by a patron party on Friday, April 19, at a private residence.
Over the past 41 years, The Sweetheart Ball has provided more than $42M for the prevention and treatment of heart disease thanks to the committee’s volunteers.
