Fashion Group International of Dallas is holding its annual black-tie “Night of Stars” on Friday, November 10, at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel (Dallas).
Presented by Mary Kay, this year’s award recipients will include the following:
- Achievement in Fashion Award “Project Runway” — Christian Siriano,
- Excellence in Media Award — Elle Magazine Editor Nina Garcia,
- Lifetime Legacy Award model — Bethann Hardison and
- Exuberance in Art Award — Ashley Longshore, who is claimed to be the “next Andy Warhol.”
According to FGI Dallas Regional Director Nerissa von Helpenstill, “The impact that each one of these individuals have had within their respective industries is monumental and inspiring. The FGI Dallas organization is more than ecstatic to host these legendary figures, as we raise funds for the future of fashion through the FGI Dallas Scholarship Fund.”
Co-Chairs Cristina Graham and Holly Quartaro are joined by 2022 FGI Dallas icon of innovation honoree Fern Mallis, who will serve as honorary chair.
As Fern explained, “After having such a great experience last year when I was honored, I said ‘Let me know what I can do to join you all again in Dallas.’ This year all of my very dear pals are being honored and I couldn’t be happier for all of them who deserve to be recognized, and I get to share this special evening with them.”
The evening will include a cocktail reception, seated dinner, the presentation of the honorees and a fashion show featuring Christian Siriano creations.
The event’s proceeds will benefit the FGI Dallas Scholarship Fund.
Tickets, starting at $500, are available here.
