According to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science Vice President of Development Melissa Reddick,

Melissa Reddick*
Perot of Nature and Science*

“Every September, we have the privilege to witness the transformative impact of Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day on nonprofit organizations throughout Dallas-Fort Worth. This remarkable initiative plays a pivotal role in our region’s philanthropic landscape, and the Perot Museum is proud to be a dedicated partner in this collective effort.

“As an annual event that ignites a spirit of giving and community support across the region, North Texas Giving Day is a critical moment for nonprofits in our region. It empowers countless organizations – including our Museum – to reach new heights in their endeavors. But it also means more than that; it represents the unyielding spirit of generosity that thrives in our vibrant community.

“At the Perot Museum, we are driven by our mission to inspire minds through nature and science. Because our mission aligns so closely with the core values of North Texas Giving Day, our partnership is a natural fit. As a partner, we actively participate in North Texas Giving Day’s initiatives, raising awareness for various causes and fostering connections with other nonprofits.

“This year, we are excited to host North Texas Giving Day celebrations and activities at three Thursdays on Tap events at the Museum. Our Thursdays on Tap events have always been about fostering connections. By collaborating with our partners at North Texas Giving Day, we aim to raise awareness and celebrate the incredible work of all North Texas nonprofits and what they do every day in service to our neighbors and communities.

“The services, programs, and resources our region’s nonprofits offer are critical not only to our community’s wellbeing, but for future generations of North Texans as well. We extend a heartfelt invitation for you to join us at the Perot Museum for Thursdays on Tap to see first-hand how you too can partner with these organizations to galvanize change and positively impact lives. Experience the joy of giving, learn about the incredible organizations working tirelessly to make a difference, and contribute to the causes that touch your heart.

“The Perot Museum is honored to stand alongside Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day as they champion the remarkable work of nonprofits in Dallas-Fort Worth. Together, we can create a lasting impact on our community, transforming lives through compassion and generosity.
