Before taking off for summer travels, the Genesis Women’s Shelter accountants were pounding out the results of last month’s 30th Anniversary Luncheon at the Hilton Anatole.
Thanks to a stellar crowd and keynoter Nicole Kidman, Luncheon Co-Chairs Monica and Brent Christopher and Genesis CEO Jan Langbein reported the event netted $600,000 to support Genesis’ mission to help women escaping domestic violence and moving onto healthier environments.
These funds resulted from ticket and raffles sales, sponsorships, pearl tributes, day-of donations and centerpiece sales.
