The 2023 Crystal Charity Ball Theme Reveal was literally picture perfect on Tuesday, April 11, at Betsy and Jim Sowell‘s estate with magnificent art on the walls for nearly 170 guests like past ball chairs (Caren Kline, Christie Carter, Claire Emanuelson, Pat McEvoy and Tucker Enthoven). Even the beautiful grounds were an artist’s inspiration with gorgeous hydrangea trees in full bloom.
Inside the home, 2023 CCB Chair Angie Kadesky was introducing the event’s sponsor Texas Capital Bank’s North Texas Middle Market Banking EVP Clint Bryant and vendors like CCB event producer Tom Addis, orchestra leader Tim Ishii and the Hilton Anatole leadership team (Beverly Anderson, Roberta Robinson and Bruce Roy).
Right on schedule Angie had Decorations Chair Kim Hext and Ball Coordinator Katherine Coker lower the drop cloth to reveal the “Masterpieces In The Making” theme.
It was truly a night that seemed so perfect. Ah, but little did guests know that just moments before the first guests arrived things were going swimmingly off the rails.
