World Affairs Council Dallas/Fort Worth has added a set of seven six new directors.
According to Council President/CEO Liz Brailsford, “These new board members are exceptional and each bring a set of complimentary gifts to the board that will support our growth and advance our mission.”
The six new directors included in the information provided by the Council are Aimee Burnett, Jennifer Hunt Frazier, David Jacobs, Susanne Shalley, Andrea Strickland and Rick Welday.
However, the website reports that Kristi Sherrill Hoyl is also a new director which would make it seven new directors.
On the other hand, five departing directors who have been on the board since 2016 include Mike Capps, Robert W. Jordan, Yon Jorden, Abid Neemuchwala and Marvin Singleton, who served as the board’s vice chair from 2021-2023.
Founded 72 years ago, the Council “is dedicated to providing relevant information about global issues, challenges and opportunities while establishing North Texas as a center for international interests and business.”
