With the focus being on volunteerism’s power to shape the future, the keynote speaker will be Charles Schwab Premier Bank exec/former NFL linebacker Christian Rodriguez, who will “share his personal story of how being adopted by his high school football coach shaped his life and his lifelong commitment to known down barriers to others.”

Another highlight of the luncheon will be the presentation of the following awards:
- 2023 VolunteerNow Lifetime Achievement Award to Lynn McBee
- Ruth Collins Sharp Altshuler Award to Dallas CASA
- The Tammy Richards VOLY.org Impact Award to Dallas Independent School District
According to VolunteerNow CEO Rachel Currie Triska, “In 2023, VolunteerNow will serve more than 548,000 young people by providing volunteers, training and resources to a network of 860 schools and 202 non-profits focused on youth and children.
