Perhaps it was the lower temperature, but the Turtle Creek Association (TCA) already has fall in its radar.
For its Membership Soiree on Tuesday, March 28 at Selene Luxury Apartments, TCA Development VP/Azalea Luncheon Chair Sharon Ballew drafted husband Maurice Ballew into tending the bar and son Jonathan Ballew providing classic rock for guests including recently retired U.S. Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson with her son D. Kirk Johnson, City Councilperson Paul Ridley, TCA Board Chair Dee Genova, Azalea Luncheon Honorary Chair/Board Chair-Elect Deborah Stanford, Paula “Mama Mozzarella” Lambert, Katheyn Iklé, Alex Proctor, Rochelle Mercier, Sally Earnet, Elyce and David Waithall, Suzanne and Robert Kriscunas and TCA Board Members Blake Shipp and Dr. Ann Stuart.
TCA President/CEO J.D. Trueblood announced that the organization’s fall gala would take place at the Marriott Uptown on Friday, October 20, with Emerald City’s Limelight Band providing the tempo for the partying.
The following Sunday (aka October 22), the annual Turtle Creek Home Tour of four dreamy homes will take place from 1 to 4 p.m.
Proceeds from the two fall events will support TCA’s mission to be “the primary guardian, advocate and champion that leads in the preservation, enhancement and protection of Turtle Creek.”
