Leave it to those Cattle Baronesses! They’re always scouting new opportunities to raise monies to battle cancer and this year’s Cattle Baron’s Ball Co-Chairs Andrea Cheek and Isabella Novakov Higginbotham found a gem in the heart of Big D — Village Country Club.
No, it wasn’t a newbie venue in Highland Park Village. Rather, think of that campus as The Village Dallas where renting is the rule of the yesteryear and today and there are all those new highfalutin playgrounds including an 18-hole putt-putt green and indoor full-swing simulators, fitness center and acreage just made for all types of ball games, plus restaurants galore.
Despite the chill of the night of the CBB Reveal for the 50th fundraiser on Wednesday, February 8, and some confusion over where the heck the event was taking place in the complex, the partying and announcement was happily ensconced in the multi-leveled VCC. Why, even NBC5’s early bird Deborah Ferguson and her hubby Steve Lamb made the scene along with past CBB chairs like Olivia Kearney, Diana Hamilton, Heather Randall, Lisa Shirley, Kris Johnson and CBB Co-Founder Jacque Wynne, plus a passel of new faces including Ana Rai and Latisha Leverette.

Needless to say, when one combines an occasion including the recipe of Cattle Baronesses and news of the entertainment and plans for the fundraiser, you’re gonna have a definite photo funfest!
