Even the winter chills don’t stop North Texas non-profits from announcing additions to their boards. The latest crop to spring up is over at Metrocrest Services, which is looking forward to moving into its new digs this year.
New board of director members, including Jess Castaneda, Margarita “Maggie” De La Rosa, Steven Graybill and Cristal Retana, will join current members like Chair Andy Dastur, Chair-Elect Shellie Rayford, Secretary Mike Hansen, Treasurer Jayson Sims, Aaron Augustine, Kita M. Hobbs, Jamie Robertson, Coby Sparks, Lauren Turner, Kristi Valentine and Greg Wilcox.

According to Metrocrest Services CEO Tracy Eubanks, “This is a milestone year for the agency. As we prepare to move into a new facility, having a Board of Directors filled with strong, dedicated members contributing their time and expertise is integral to successfully serving the needs of our community.”

Established in 1971, Metrocrest Services says its mission has been “to provide hope and relief to those who need a helping hand by offering a comprehensive bundle of services to address gaps in finances, employment and nutrition to holistically help end poverty.” Its service area includes Carrollton, Addison, Farmers Branch, Coppell and the city of Dallas in Denton County.
