2023 Equest Board of Directors Co-Chairs Clint Haggarty and Lisa Loy Laughlin have just revealed the board’s slate of new officers including Vice Chair Katherine Wyker, Secretary Cori Ulrich and Treasurer Pia Ackerman.
Coming on board as new members are Brooke Bailey, Elizabeth Dacus, Amy Green, Bridget “Teddie” Proctor, Daniel Valentine and Bill Woodall.
According to Equest CEO Lili Kellogg, “We are so delighted to welcome six new first to the Equest board who bring their expertise, leadership, enthusiasm and passion for our mission. As well, we are so fortunate to have these incredible board officers to lead out organization as we head into our 42nd year, especially our board co-chairs Lisa Loy Laughlin and Clint Haggarty.”
The new members will be joining current directors Carolyn Anderson, Katie Cox, Harley Cozewith, Tim Gavin, Lindsay Kirton, Marianne Fazen, Teresa Fishman, Prisma Garcia, Elissa McClure and Julie Sherman.
Established in 1981, Equest says its mission is to “provide equine assisted learning, therapies and counseling to children and adults with physical, cognitive, sensory, coping and learning disabilities, as well as veterans who receive all of Equest’s services at no charge.”
