The Family Place Board of Directors Chair Harold Ginsburg has just has added 14 new members to the board that includes the following: Ashley Arnold, Jim Buddrus, Pat Faubion, Nakita Johnson, Reginald Johnson, Elisabeth Karpidas, Elaine Kartalis, Sarah Marks, Mary McGreevy Jennings, Theresa Parkinson, Cristal Retana-Lule, Anthony Suggs, Kelly Vickers and Leah Waldrum.
According to The Family Place CEO Mimi Sterling, “For 45 years, The Family Place has made an incredible impact on the greater North Texas community. Our new board members join a diverse group of community leaders who each offer unique skills and knowledge that will guide The Family Place’s vision, bringing brighter futures to survivors of domestic violence.”
The new members, who will serve “at least two-years, supporting the organization with professional guidance and strategic consultation,” join Harold and returning board members Brooke Armstrong, Jeannie Barsam, Steven Bauer, Mark Benton, Laurie Berger, Nancy Bierman, Bill Durham, Monika Flood, Theresa Flores, Lauran Goldberg, Carlos Gonzalez-Jaime, Michelle Goolsby, Belinda Griffin, Stacey Guillen, Patricio Gutierrez, Lindsay Jacaman, Michelle Jenkins, Melissa Keeling, Linda Knox, Holly Krug, Clarisa Lindenmeyer, Margo McClinton Stoglin, Thomas McCollum, Lauren McKinnon, Aaliyah Miranda, Tiffany Moon, David Oliver, Elizabeth Saab, Kristen Sanger, Ryan Scripps, Lisa Sherrod, Sinead Soesbe, Ghousuddin Syed, Elizabeth Ward Creel, Eric White, Samantha Wortley and Ana Yoder.

The largest provider of programs for domestic violence victims in Texas, The Family Place was established in 1978 and today offers services for more than 10,000 clients annually.
