According to Family Gateway, in comparing 2021 with 2022, “last year Family Gateway identified 1.5x the number of families sleeping in their vehicles and more than 2x the number of families pending an eviction.”

Regarding the new members and leadership, Family Gateway President/CEO Ellen Magnis said, ““At a time of great need in our community, we are very excited to welcome six new individuals to our Board of Directors. Their unique strengths and expertise will be invaluable to our agency as we prepare to serve more families with children experiencing homelessness than ever before. I am confident these new board members will help us continue to be a local and national leader in our response to family homelessness.”
