2023 TACA Silver Cup Award Will Be Presented To Gene Jones And Joe Hubach

2023 TACA Silver Cup Award Luncheon Co-Chairs Elaine Agather and Andy Smith have announced plans for the TACA fundraiser saluting “Dallas volunteers and advocates who have made significant contributions to the city’s arts and culture landscape.”

This year’s honorees are philanthropist Gene Jones and Texas Instruments retired SVP and General Counsel Joe Hubach, who will be recognized at the luncheon presented by JPMorgan Chase and Co. and Texas Instruments on Wednesday, May 3, at the Omni Dallas Hotel.

According to Interim Donna Wilhelm Family President/Executive Director Maura Sheffler, “Gene Jones and Joe Hubach have contributed immeasurably to arts and culture in North Texas, and we are all richer for it. Both 2023 TACA Silver Cup recipients give selflessly of their time, talent and gifts to elevate and prioritize the arts in our area, and we look forward to shining a much-deserved spotlight on them.”

In accepting the 45th Silver Cup Awards, Gene and Joe will join a list of past recipients including Margaret McDermott and Henry S. Miller Jr. in 1979, Grace Stemmons Kepler and Robert S. Meadows Jr. in 1991, Wendy Reves and Major General Hugh G. Robinson in 1992, Bess Enloe and Vin Prothro in 1993, Dolores Barzune and Bill Winspear in 1994, Louise Kahn and Jeremy Halbreich in 1995, Virginia Nick and John Dayton in 1996, Deedie Rose and Robert L.
