Okay, campers! Rise and shine for the 2023 winter workout for temperature push-ups. After the last two days of barely hitting 50ish degree temperatures, Monday’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day will be rising up to 78 degrees. Thank heaven, it’s a federal holiday so you won’t have to file your quarterly or pick up any unwanted mail until Tuesday!
On the other hand, if your closet of woolly sweaters and silky frocks is confused whether it’s in-or-out, tell it to take a chill pill because the rest of the week is going to be a continuation of the changes, with thermometers heading for the 50s on Saturday.
But there’s good news for those quenching for a drink of water. Projections are suggesting that the wet stuff may hit the area on Wednesday and the following Saturday and Sunday.
So, if your sprinkler system is blowing out a gasket trying to figure out what to do, stay calm. This ups-and-downs weather is just part of the ever-changing North Texas personality.
